Merge Two Photos

Merge Two Photos is a browser-based free utility for merging two photos into a single downloadable PNG. It is built for speed and clarity rather than complex layered editing: users pick a visual layout, add two images, and export a result suitable for albums, listings, presentations, and social sharing. Four merge modes cover common needs. Side by side places photos left and right in one wide frame—ideal for comparisons, portraits, travel diptychs, and product pairs. Top/bottom stacks images vertically for before-and-after strips and tall collages. Overlay places a smaller foreground image onto a base photo (default bottom-left), useful for stickers, logos, or picture-in-picture inserts. AI merge lets users describe how Image 1 and Image 2 should combine—for example placing a person into another background or blending two scenes—when a hard cut is not enough. A key differentiator is local-first privacy for collage modes. Side-by-side, stacked, and overlay processing runs in the browser; those photos are not uploaded to Merge Two Photos servers. AI merge is optional and will upload both images for cloud processing. Guest AI results typically expire after about 24 hours; signed-in AI history is kept longer (about 30 days). Users should always download PNGs they want to keep. The product is free for core use. Local merges have no watermark and do not require payment. AI merge is also free, subject to fair-use daily limits (currently five successful AI merges per UTC day). No paid subscription is required for these core features today; if paid options are added later, pricing and refund rules will appear on the live site and legal pages. Input support: JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC/HEIF up to 10 MB each. Output: clean PNG downloads. The UI works on modern desktop and mobile browsers—no install, no plugin. An account (for example Google sign-in where enabled) is optional and mainly improves AI history retention.
